Missions

Haiti

The support of missions has been a key element of the ministry of Grace Temple. In the early 70’s the church purchased land in Haiti, and built a church and school, which was completely financed by the congregation. The church was named Grace Temple Church, and the school was named after Robert L. Brown. In addition, the teacher’s salaries were paid by the congregation.

In January 2010 the Grace Temple Church and School in Haiti sustained extensive damage in a catastrophic earthquake. Grace Temple has remained steadfast in its support of missions—sending a delegation to review the damage and pledging the funds necessary for reconstruction.
